Zootopia (Rescoring)

– Chase Sequence

A reimagined chase sequence from Zootopia, focusing on how tension and momentum emerge through interplay between orchestral sections.

Through interlocking rhythmic layers, contrasting articulations, and shifting textures, the music evolves organically, balancing drive, clarity, and kinetic energy.

Recorded with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, the project combines detailed programming with live performance, highlighting precision, responsiveness, and cinematic flow.

Honor of Kings (Rescoring)

– “Catch Me If You Can”

A cinematic rescoring of Honor of Kings’ Yun Ying character cinematic, Catch Me If You Can reinterprets the sequence through a hybrid orchestral language that merges Chinese musical tradition with contemporary action scoring. The project will be recorded live at AIR Studios, London.

The cue features a solo cello imitating the timbral nuance of the guqin, combined with flamenco-inspired rhythmic propulsion to drive the fast-paced chase sequence forward. The ending culminates in a reimagined quotation of Jiu Kuang (酒狂), one of the ten most celebrated classical guqin pieces in Chinese music history, transformed into an orchestral climax that bridges ancient source material with modern cinematic intensity.

Honkai: Star Rail (Rescoring)

– “Striding” Cinematic

A cinematic rescoring of Honkai: Star Rail that reinterprets the sequence through a distinctly Chinese sonic language.

By foregrounding instruments such as dizi, erhu, suona, and guzheng, the score builds a sound world that is both intimate and expansive, balancing lyricism with dramatic intensity. The music works in tandem with custom-designed sound effects, shaping rhythm, space, and emotional pacing throughout the scene.

Dialogue: Harvey Morland Lindsey Petrosso

Violin: Crystal Li

Clarity over complexity.

Emotion over decoration.
